Workshop for Preschool Teachers on the Teacher’s Guide “ Play & Learn”
Early Childhood Development Unit of the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs, Northern Province published a Teachers’ Guide book “Play and Learn” for preschools teachers on 21st March, 2016.
The training workshop on the Teachers’ Guide for the preschool teachers of Thunukkai Zone was conducted by Aaruthal in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Northern Province funded by Save the Children International for eight days from 26th June, 2016.
The Director ECCD –Unit, Northern Province Miss.Jeya Thambiah, Chief Executive Officer Mr.Sundaram Divakalala, Senior Project Officer, Save the Children International, Ariyarasa Ajanthan, Medical Officer of Health, Mallavi Dr. Sujinthan, the Child Protection Officer, Thunukkai, Mr.Suthanathan and the resource persons conducted the workshop participated at the closing session. Certificates were awarded to the teachers successfully completed the course.
