Awareness programme on child rights and child protection for preschool teaches in Northern Province -2015

The above programme was conducted in Jaffna, Pandatharippu, Navaly, Navanthurai, Kurunagar, Kilinochchi (Umayalpuram,Konavil,) Mullaithivu ( Puthukudiyiruppu , Kallappadu) Vavuniya North, Vavuniya South , Mannar Illappakaduvai, and in Islands – Velanai

It is a three days programme consisting of six sessions was implemented by Aaruthal with the sponsor of the Department of probation and child services, Northern Province .

The purpose of the awareness programme is to strengthen the preschool teachers and parents in child rights and child protection activities.

In the Northern Province through this training  programme up to now 336 preschool teachers acquired knowledge in child rights and child probation as an added  value for their profession.
