Inaugural function of Preschool Diploma Course – 2018/2019 Jaffna
The Inaugural function of Preschool Diploma Course – 2018/2019 for the preschool teachers was held on 19th Saturday, 2019 at Sornambikai Hall, Navalar Street, Nallur, Jaffna. The function began at 10.00 am.
The Chief Executive Officer of Aaruthal, Mr.Sundaram Divakalala presided the function. Past Governor, Rotary Club, Colombo, Rtn. Dharshan John, adorned the function as the Chief Guest.
President, Rotary East, Colombo Mr.Sampath Perera, Director, Early Childhood Development Unit, Ministry of Education, Northern Province, Miss.Jeya Thambiah and Coordinator, Diploma Course, Aaruthal, Retired Vice Chancellor, Mr.S.Mohanadas were invited as the Special Guests. The Assistant Directors of Education, ECCD, Jaffna, Kilinochchi and the Rotarians from Nallur and Chunakam also participated in the function.
172 preschool teachers from Jafna, Vadamaradchi and Thenmaradchi zones were participated at the function. The diploma course was financially supported by the Rotary Club.
